Amanda Springer

Every day looks different for Amanda, which is how she prefers to work. As COO, Amanda handles operations, marketing, and HR functions for Ascendient.  

Born in upstate New York, Amanda has lived in the Northeast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and now Southeast United States over her varied, 26-year career. She has held leadership positions in strategy, marketing, technology, sales, and service delivery and enjoys bringing all those together at Ascendient.

Having spent a significant portion of her career in consulting organizations – both small firms and giants like Accenture and IBM – Amanda knows the energy, passion, and ideas that flow in spaces where consultants gather. She loves a happy client, but most of all, she loves digging deep into the human issues we all face at work. Whether it be people, operations, or technology, her goal is to help Ascendient succeed and continue to be a great place to build a career, make a difference, and flourish as a professional.

When she’s not at Ascendient’s office in Chapel Hill, you can find Amanda at her son’s basketball game or track meet, on the golf course with her husband, thrift store shopping, walking her puggle Pressley, or hanging out with the Scholar she mentors through the Blue Ribbon Mentor Advocate program in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School District.
